The kind of attention that comes from growing up between cultures, from traveling back and forth across an ocean, from learning to recognize the difference between something beautiful and something that will matter in twenty years.

Two countries, one point of view. When a Philadelphian and a Madrileña found each other, so did everything they'd each been quietly accumulating: an instinct for craft, a conviction that the most beautiful things are rarely the most visible, and a shared belief that objects made with intention carry something that mass production never can.
Studio Sommos grew out of that convergence. Not from a single trip or a single discovery, but from a decade of returning to Spain together — moving through its cities and coastlines, its mountain villages and sunlit ateliers — and slowly, deliberately learning to see what deserves to cross the Atlantic.
