Pablo Yubero is a woodturner and designer based in Madrid. From his workshop, he creates unique pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship, contemporary sensibility, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
His connection to wood began in childhood, growing up in a family where this material was part of everyday life. Over time, that familiarity turned into a way of working—and a way of understanding the world—through respect for materials, attention to process, and a search for essential forms.
In each piece, Pablo allows the wood to speak: its grain, knots, and density influence the final design. He works in limited series of bowls, vases, stools, and sculptural objects, always using responsibly sourced hardwoods. Every item is made by hand, without haste or synthetic treatments, to preserve the material’s natural character.
Far from mass production, his project advocates for a different approach: slower, more thoughtful, and rooted in the value of the unique. Yubero Torno is, ultimately, a celebration of the beauty of imperfection, of nature, and of things made to last.
