Fueguitos — tiny flames, in Spanish — takes its name from a short story by writer Eduardo Galeano, in which the world is imagined as a sea of small lights, each person burning with their own. RiR & Co. wove this blanket with that image in mind, using the ancient gorullo technique — a traditional Galician method of looping and layering that creates the throw's distinctive textured surface. Merino wool and silk, handwoven in Allariz, a medieval town in the northwest of Spain. The result is a blanket with presence: light in the hand, warm in use, and visually impossible to ignore. Each piece is a limited edition. Unique.

Details
Two Fueguitos exist because the material changes everything. Where the merino and silk version is refined and luminous, the mohair has a rawer warmth — more immediate, more tactile. Both are made by the same hands at RiR & Co., with the same technique, for people who understand the difference.
