Rosanna de la Riva works in the space between jewelry and sculpture, where a thing can be both useful and quietly extraordinary. The Tamariu is named for a sheltered cove on the Costa Brava — still water, worn stone, light that arrives slowly. Two smooth lobes in gold-plated brass curl toward each other without closing, generous in form, unhurried in feeling. Matte-brushed and warm against the skin.

We found Rosanna de la Riva and couldn't look away. Over a century of jewelry making in Barcelona, five generations in, and they are still doing something that feels entirely of the moment.
